North Harbor Drive Realignment Project, San Diego, California
KOA has participated in many aspects of this waterfront realignment project in San Diego. During the EIR process KOA developed parking lot conceptual plans, completed a traffic analysis, and prepared a master plan report. Conceptual engineering designs, costs and alternative recommendations were developed to program the project and acquire funding.

Final engineering design plans, specifications and cost estimates for the project involved one-half mile of roadway design, three traffic signal designs and landscaping plans.

The project removed the existing south frontage road to create a more efficient arrangement of parking spaces, reconfigure and optimize parking layouts, realign the 4-lane arterial, and improve pedestrian facilities.
