Hoag Memorial Hospital Presbyterian Master Plan, Newport Beach, California
Hoag Memorial Hospital Presbyterian retained KOA to analyze its existing and future parking needs, and to develop a Parking Management Plan. The study found that, by 2012, it would be essential for Hoag Hospital to control parking by initiating a paid parking program in one of the project’s parking structures. The recommendations included that a parking lot be built within ½-mile of Hoag Hospital, as well as other measures that would reduce the demand for parking.
St. Jude’s Hospital Master Plan, Fullerton, California
The Sisters of Saint Joseph proposed to expand St. Jude Medical Center by adding a 455-stall parking structure, which was intended to improve overall parking supply for the site. The hospital has been developing plans to guide its expansion to meet state requirements over the next 30 years. KOA was retained by the hospital to assist in the evaluation of traffic and parking needs for each component of the facility’s expansion, near-term plans and alternative future scenarios.
