US 395 Goods Movement Study, Eastern Sierra Region, California
KOA conducted a goods movement study along US 395 between SR 14 and US 6 in the Eastern Sierra region. The study was performed for District 9 of the California Department of Transportation (Caltrans), and included conducting vehicle classification counts for a one-week duration, truck intercept surveys in the City of Bishop and operator surveys. The project identified goods movement through the corridor including types, routes, frequencies, type of trucks and origin / destination. The study also identified seasonal impacts on truck traffic.

South Bay Cities Council of Governments (SBCCOG) South Bay Goods Movement Feasibility Analysis, Los Angeles County, California
KOA Corporation conducted a goods movement feasibility analysis for the SBCCOG, its member agencies and Metro to develop a list of early action projects that will enhance goods movement mobility for all modes including truck, rail and autos. The project included an assessment of existing and future operating conditions, the development of improvement concepts and plans, detailed cost estimates and funding strategies.

SR-58 Origin and Destination Truck Study, Kern & San Bernardino Counties, California
For San Bernardino Associated Governments (SANBAG), KOA conducted a truck origins and destinations study for heavy duty trucks traveling along SR-58 between Interstate 5 (I-5) in Kern County and Interstate 15 (1-15) in San Bernardino County. The project identified goods movements along I-5 in the Inland Empire including prevalent origins and typical seasonal volumes.
